Contact and Inquiry Forms
When you submit a form on PHexpats.com (newsletter signup or service inquiry), we collect your name, email address, and any other information you voluntarily provide. Submissions are processed by WPForms, stored in our WordPress database, and — where you have opted in — transmitted to MailerLite for newsletter delivery. You may unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email we send.
Comments
Comments collect the data shown in the comment form, your IP address, and browser user agent string for spam detection. An anonymized hash of your email address may be shared with Gravatar to display a profile image.
Cookies
We use cookies for the following purposes:

Email Marketing
If you subscribe to our newsletter or submit a service inquiry, your name and email address are stored in MailerLite, our email marketing platform. MailerLite is GDPR-compliant and located in the EU. You can unsubscribe at any time via the unsubscribe link in any email, or by contacting us at jason.gregg@mail.com. We do not sell or share your email address with third parties for their marketing purposes.
Who We Share Data With
We do not sell personal data. We share it only with the service providers necessary to operate PHexpats.com:
- MailerLite — email marketing and newsletter delivery
- WPForms — form submission processing
- Google — analytics and AdSense advertising
- HostGator — web hosting (server logs, IP addresses)
- Gravatar / Automattic — comment profile images
Data Retention
Comment data is retained indefinitely to recognize returning commenters. Form submissions and email subscriber records are retained until you unsubscribe or request deletion. Server access logs are retained per HostGator’s standard data retention policy.
Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction or deletion of your personal data
- Withdraw consent for email marketing at any time
- Request a portable copy of your data
- Lodge a complaint with a data protection authority

Data Security
PHexpats.com is served over HTTPS (SSL/TLS encryption). Access to the WordPress admin backend is restricted to authorized administrators. We do not store payment card information — all purchases made through affiliate links are processed entirely by the third-party merchant.
California Residents (CCPA)
If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information we collect, to request deletion, and to opt out of the sale of personal information. We do not sell personal information. To submit a CCPA request, email jason.gregg@mail.com.
Children’s Privacy
PHexpats.com is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Material changes will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
