Classifieds Help & Posting Guidelines

PHExpats Classifieds lets you post and browse ads across the Philippines. You can buy, sell, rent, promote your business, or offer services. All users must follow these posting rules to keep listings accurate and safe.

Before You Post

  • Only list real products, services, or properties you personally own or manage.
  • Use clear titles and real photos — no stock images or watermarks.
  • Choose the correct category and location.
  • Never send payment outside verified platforms or before meeting in person.
  • Duplicate, misleading, or adult content outside approved sections will be removed.

1. Creating an Account

  • Click Login / Register at the top of the site.
  • Verify your email before posting.
  • Keep your account information up to date.
  • Each user is responsible for listings made under their profile.

2. Posting a Listing

  1. Go to Post Your Ad or visit /listing-form/.
  2. Choose the right category and subcategory.
  3. Add a clear title and detailed description.
  4. Upload up to 5 quality photos (no watermarks).
  5. Set a valid price or select “Negotiable.”
  6. Submit your ad. It will appear once approved by moderators.

Tip: Use short, direct titles. Avoid excessive punctuation or emojis.

3. Payments and Promotion

  • All business listings and featured ads require PayPal payment.
  • You’ll see the Pay with PayPal option during checkout.
  • Payments are processed securely via your PayPal account or credit card.
  • Featured listings stay pinned for increased visibility.

4. Editing or Deleting a Listing

  • Go to My Account → My Listings.
  • Click Edit to change content or photos.
  • Click Delete to remove your post permanently.
  • Listings expire automatically after the set duration.

5. Rules and Restrictions

To keep the marketplace fair and safe:

  • No illegal products, counterfeit goods, or restricted items.
  • No adult or explicit content outside the Adult Services section.
  • No duplicate or spam postings.
  • Ads must be written in English or Taglish and clearly describe what’s offered.
  • Misleading or fraudulent listings are subject to permanent account suspension.

6. Reporting an Ad

  • Use the Report Abuse button on any listing.
  • Provide a short reason for the report.
  • Our team reviews all reports within 24–48 hours.

7. Safety Tips

  • Meet sellers in public places.
  • Verify identity and product details before payment.
  • Avoid sending deposits without verified documentation.
  • Use PayPal or cash on delivery whenever possible.

PHExpats does not handle transactions directly and is not liable for user disputes.
